Tape
List |
STATUS:
CLOSED
Tape distribution is restricted to Ronin Anime members only (we are not a public fansub distribution club).
IF WE DO NOT SEE YOU ATTENDING SOME OF THE SHOWINGS, WE WILL NOT DISTRIBUTE TO YOU. We know for whatever reason that some people cannot make it to the showings, but too many that don't show up or don't want to show up have been asking for copies of the fansubbed anime, and if we allowed these people to obtain tapes, we will
definitely be overloaded and we don't have time for that, so it is going to have to be restricted to people who actually come and watch some of the anime that we show. To see how you can become a member, please go to the
Membership link.
Members can receive one tape per request (this may have to be halted if the officers are too busy with school and other things). The unlicensed feature anime that we are showing will be available for distribution once the club has finished viewing the particular volume of each series (the feature anime titles are colored in blue). The distribution of fansubbed anime is for the individual viewing of the recipient. All copies made by Ronin Anime are not to be rented out, sold, or distributed in any fashion...there will be no tolerance for deviance of this rule. The requests you make are one-time only: meaning that you may request a particular title only once. The only time we will re-copy a particular anime title for you is if the original copy we made was bad. Ronin Anime will only accept the following tapes in brand new condition:
TDK HS (or above)
Maxell Silver (or above)
Fuji HS (or above).
Sony V (or above)
All tapes should be 120 minutes long. Any other brand name will be rejected, and any used tapes will not be recorded upon and returned.

Turnaround time for tapes will be 1-2 weeks. We really, REALLY don't like holding people's tapes when they don't show up to get them because it takes up valuable space in the bags we use to transport tapes, so here's how this is going to work. We will hold finished copies of anime for a maximum of 2 weeks from the Wednesday that we bring them to the showing, and if you do not contact
us by the end of this time period to arrange something, we will do one of these two things: 1) the tapes will be given away to anyone at the showing who wants them, or 2) we will keep the tapes and use it for our own evil purposes. This may be a bit harsh, but we don't want to go walking around with overfilled bags because of unclaimed anime.
Please note that Ronin Anime will cease distribution of anime titles as soon as they have been licensed by domestic anime companies. If a request has been made before the licensing of a particular title, we will still honor that request.
Ronin Anime Fansub Distribution reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. |
