Kamiya Kaoru

Alias: Tanuki onna, Jou-chan (by Sanosuke), Kaoru-dono (by Kenshin), etc.

Looks: Utterly adorable. She has a good fashion sense, and looks good with every cloth she wears (personally I love her red kimono the best). Long flowing black-blue hair, bluish eyes, and a quite nice bod. She knew what she meant by saying that her beauty was criminal *lol*. Note that her face, while it's cute the 60% of time, distorts comically when she's upset.

Smarts: Above average, even with the flaw that her emotions cloud the judgement more than it should. She knows her way in kenjutsu and streetsmarts quite well.

Personality: Spunky, but always you can find the soft spot of this woman. Has a very short temper that specially boils up when Yahiko, Sanosuke or Megumi are around. When in tight situations, Kaoru-dono has proved to have great bravery and matureness. She holds on to Kenshin like crazy, being her first love, and way the one who had changed her life.

Cooking: *excuse me...* BURP! Kaoru's cooking is infamous. Itsuko and Megumi have failed trying to help her to improve, so you better take rid of the kitchen. Cleaning and other house domestics aren't farney but pretty decent.

Fighting skills: Good. She's after all, the heir of Kamiya Kasshin Ryu. Kaoru will hold well against mugglers and many street thugs. What she can do against Saitoh, Aoshi or others, is variable, though Kaoru could hold her own against Kamatari quite well. She's also one helluva tutor -- ask Yahiko, Yutaro, Toramaru and Daigoro.

Combat abilites: To be adorable, getting out the best or worse from Kenshin, and many others.

Competition: Himura Kenshin. Yukishiro Enishi. I mention Enishi not as a real romantic rival for you, but as a major threat to Kaoru. The man's a walking psycho who will stop at nothing to make Kenshin's life unhappy as it can, and knows that Kaoru is the most important thing to him, so she'll be (and she WAS) his first target. It may include you if you're with her as well. And Kenshin? The latest line should say something. Eventhough he doesn't really dare to walk the first step, Kaoru is 'everything' to him. And I MEAN the word 'everything'. However, if Kaoru-dono is *really* willing to go with you, he may just wish you happiness and walk the way to Kyoto again. We're all praying for this NOT to happen.

In-Laws: Apart of Kenshin, the rest of Kenshin-gumi, meaning Sanosuke, Megumi and Yahiko. Sano and Yahiko-chan may be very unaccepting, and they'll be hard to deal. Megumi will *ever* demostrate it openly, but beware of her ironies. Though they may accept you around Jou-chan, if you prove to make her happy.

Finances: Kaoru has her own dojo but she's hardly seen training anyone but Yahiko. With a firm hand and wise handling, you can bring it afloat nicely.

Sex: Intresting after you've passed the wall of her blushing face and change of subject. Whe she gets to know you better, she'll be very eager to please and hold you. Cuddle her a lot, and better try to make her happy.

Overall: Quite worthwhile as a catch. She'll be a wife as loyal and loving as possible in the Kenshin world. But you know. Everything good has a prize, and in this case, it'd be having three vey pissed members of the Kenshin-gumi, and possibly an enraged Battousai, after you, if they heard you don't treat her so right as she definitely deserves.
