Alias: Sano, roaster head (by Yahiko and Cho), Higashidane Sanosuke (his true name).

Looks: Impressive, in a rude way. Nicely formed body (surely with some sexy scars), stylish spiked hair matching with his red bandanna. Radiant brown eyes. He has been know to have a seductive smile. Always shows up dressed in a very revealing, long, loose garment (with the kanji "Evil" on the back), white pants, and sexy stomach bandages.

Smarts: Has a tendency to jump into action before he thinks, causing him much more trouble that he should be in. No book-smart, but VERY street-smart.

Personality: Cocky. Sanosuke was in the streets since early age, and to survive he displays a tough shell, which cracks only in the presence of his friends. Impulsive and fiery, loyal as a dog on a leash, a pottymouth (F***!!), quite lazy sometimes, and always happy go round.

Cooking: Have you "ever" seen him cook? :) He's pretty good at cadging food from others, and often leaves the Akabeko w/o paying a yen. Has a strong stomach, possibly from eating Kaoru's concoctions.

Fighting skills: Though not in the level of Shinomori, Kenshin or Saitou, he can throw one hell of a PUNCH!!! When we first met him, he also had the Zanbatou sword, which was nearly bigger than he was, but as it was broken by Kenshin, he prefers to use his bare hands. A quicklearner also, Sanosuke learned in no time from Anji the Futae no Kiwami, excellent offensive move, and very handy when you're jailed. ;)

Special abilities: Nearly indestructible. *lol* Very strong with alcohol, supportive of his friends, and VERY eager to take any risque at hand.

Competition: Mutou Sayo aka Magdaria. Takani Megumi. Sayo died in Shimabara arc, and she's not in the original manga timeline, so we shouldn't worry about her. Even if she wasn't shot to death, the Christian lady was doomed from the start, by being mortally sick. This brings us to Megumi, which will be the hardest woman to "beat" if you wanna have Sano. She's a wonderful tease and knows how to touch Sano's feeling with words, hiding the meaning under the flying teases and insults she throws at him. And there's no one better than the kitsune onna to fix Sano's hand and body whenever he's hurt... *lol*

In-Laws: First, the Kenshin-Gumi, whose members can be equally disastrous, no matter if they try to tear you apart from him or bring Sano closer to you. Sanosuke later, in the manga, finds his true family, composed of father Kamishogoemon (a man in his 40's who acts just like his son), younger sister Uki (one of the loveliest RK girls to have around), and kawaii little brother Outa (Sano's n° 1 fanboy, even when he still doesn't know Sano's his older brother, if my memory serves me rite). This "official" family is quite alike the "forster" one. Count also his best friend in Sekihoutai, Tsukioka Katsu, as (another) honorary brother-in-law. If he was alive, Sagara-kanchou would be a terrific father-in-law too.

Finances: Not too great, though he manages to mantain his little apartment. Also, Sano loses a lot of money by gambling. To start, control this tendency of him.

Sex: Passionate undoubtly. Being in the streets, Sano possibly lost his virginity pretty soon, and may have more of a trick under his white sleeve. He's quite the playful type who will try crazy places or more exotic love positions to please you and himself, too.

Overall: Topsy-turvy ride. Irresposible though well-meaning, Sano can be a collosal pain in the ass if you want him as a sure shot. But he'll be very warm and loyal no matter what. Keep him a little in line (not too much or he wouldn't be Sagara Sanosuke anymore *wink*), and this one's for you, if you're up for adventure and fun.
