Alias: Doctor Megumi, kitsune onna (foxy lady, by Sanosuke).

Looks: Very attractive. She's the most mature-looking woman in RK world along with Yumi, Tae and Tomoe, in contrast to the innocent Kaoru. Cherry-red lips along with her deep dark eyes, beautiful long black hair, a well-endowed body. Usually wears over her kimono a sort of jacket called "michiyuki", making her look slightly severe. Megumi-san has a malicious laughter that reminds a little of Kodachi's, though not half as annoying.

Brains: Very good. Megumi is the brains of the Kenshin-gumi. Plays her word games with Sano, knows "how" to tease Kaoru, and excellent when it comes to health and how to cure various illnesses and wounds.

Personality: Serious in between the crazy people around her. Megumi has passed a hard time since the Aizu wars and the years when she was Kanryu's unwilling partner in the opium deals, and it has influenced her a lot, as it's shown in the sad expression she has sometimes. Can be grim and hard on herself quite in a while, as demonstrated by Sanosuke and Aoshi. She'll open only to the right person, and you can be that someone.

Cooking: Not fantastic as Tae's, but good undoubtly. When she's in the kitchen there's nothing to be afraid of.

Fighting skills: Megumi can't fight and she knows it, so she tries to stay out of problems whenever she can. But she's very useful AFTER the battles, being an excellent doctor. When Yahiko was poisoned by Beshimi's darts, she knew exactly what to do to save the boy in an hour.

Special abilities: None superhuman, though I may count her knowledge about medicines and plants.

Competition: Himura Kenshin, Sagara Sanosuke. Deep down Megumi, though she had quite a crush on Ken-san, knew she had no chance against Kaoru-chan, so she limited herself to the tease labor. Sano is the harder to deal with, as he loves her in his own easygoing way and, even if he backs off (fat chance) he's very protective of Megumi.

In-Laws: Her parents were killed in the Aizu war, and there are no data on her siblings, so you may prefer to count the Kenshin-gumi. You know they won't stand in your way if you do no harm to Megumi and prove to be worth of her.

Finances: Comfy with her work as Genzai-sensei's assistant. Note that she's very popular as a doctor, so with a little help from you, Megumi may be able to soon open her own little clinic. Given her high smarts, you two should do well with the money.

Sex: "Silent, strong type may explode in the bedroom". Megumi is the closest RK gal to that type. You get what I mean? She will be nice in bed, considering she needs quite of attention given her former loneliness and insecurities, and soon will make honour to the line stated above.

Overall: Megumi is a woman instead of a girl, and she'll be very dedicated to you and her labor. If you don't mind your foxy lady to be always in call and have a group of odd if well-intentioned friends dropping once in a while (specially the boy from the Sekihoutai), she'll be a darn good wife.
